Rick Stanton spent eleven years and five months assigned as a homicide detective with the Tampa Police Department. These are some of the cases that occurred while he was a member of the best ten-man homicide squad in the United States, in my humble opinion. It all started when he was leaving work as a burglary detective on a Friday evening and a few hours later when contemplating going to bed, he received a phone call at home and the sergeant saying, "Welcome to Homicide, we have a shooting."
