Notă biografică

Nathalie and Ladislas Gara, along with their daughter Claire, sought refuge in the small French village of Saint-Boniface from 1942-1945. They tell their story in the lightly fictionalised book Welcome to the Free Zone. They died in 1966 and 1984.
