Do you believe what you toast to on New Year's Eve will come true? Denise, Destiny and Imani didn't until they jokingly toasted to trouble and got a trouble-filled year that threatened their friendship as well as the other relationships in their lives.

Denise is a single woman who has a knack for picking Mr. Wrong but despite the misfortunes in her own love life, she is still the authority her friends turn to for advice about their relationships. Denise believed her luck had changed when she met Darryl on New Years Eve.

Destiny is Denise's oldest friend. Destiny's internal and relationship problems intensify when she meets someone she can't say no to on New Years Eve. Denise met Imani in college and they have been close ever since.

Imani is a beautiful, smart but troubled woman who appears to have it all, including a professional basketball player for a boyfriend but even when things are well Imani believes they are unraveling around her.
