The book was written as a result of the author's conversations with friends and acquaintances regarding their love relationships. It is also based on her own personal observations. The book is meant to entertain, to advise, and to inspire hope. Ultimately, the author wants the reader to know that it takes courage to be vulnerable and fall in love and that "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."
