Caracteristici
Light paranormal/supernatural themes are timely (the fact that Rex talks and may or may not be channeling Grace's father's spirit), and the ending is utterly satisfying, yet open-ended - readers must decide for themselves what the truth is.
Notă biografică
Randi Reisfeld and H. B. Gilmour, co-authors of T*Witches series, Oh Baby!, and Making Waves, began working on What the Dog Said several months before the untimely passing of H. B. In her honor, Randi proudly completes this novel about coping with loss and the angels who move us forward without letting us forget.
Descriere
Shortly after their police officer father is killed in the line of duty, 13-year-old Grace's older sister decides to adopt a dog to train as a service dog for a handicapped child so that she can write about it for her college applications. But, true to form, it is the grief-stricken Grace who ends up taking responsibility for the dog.
