Two retired senior citizens are very lonely now that their children are grown and their grandchildren are busy. But all of that changes when the grandmother sees an ad for a dog rescue group one day.

Buddy is a three-year-old Labrador retriever who was rescued while wandering the streets in search of food. As fate brings Buddy home to live with his forever family, the grandma and grandpa soon realize the true meaning of unconditional love as they begin an adventure together and welcome happiness into their home.
