Daisy and Lillian Vanders, middle-aged sisters and operating room nurses, are the type of women who attract secrets. With generous personalities and a listening ear, they are known for keeping a very tight lip on all things told to them in confidence.

When four men attempt to rob an elderly man, their plan goes awry and one of them is shot while the others flee. With the injured thief taken to the hospital where Daisy and Lillian work, the remaining three thieves hatch a plan to rescue their friend. But things go horribly wrong. A nurse is killed. Are the boys guilty? The sisters aren't convinced.
