Available in January 2006, the publication is composed of 3,030 pages and is divided into three volumes. The first and second contain more than 6,700 biographical profiles of those Italians who best represent their field of activity: in each single case, all stages of the person's career are analysed during an encounter with the personage him/herself. The biographical profile is divided as follows to make for easy reading: surname, name, general definition of activity, place and date of birth, business and home address, education, career, publications, awards, memberships, recreation. The third volume contains 4,500 profiles of banks, institutions, financial structures, and companies operating in all business lines. The profiles highlight the leading edge and competitiveness of the products, as well as the winning strategies, objectives, technologies, research, international reach and corporate philosophy.
