She has been a pastor's wife, Bible teacher and Christian radio presenter. Jean and John have been involved in missionary work in a number of countries, most notably Vanuatu. They continue to be involved with David Pawson Ministries Australia and the David Pawson Teaching Trust. They have five adult children, twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jean has written several children's books and a history of their family heritage.
