Leading the Way is a Next Frontier Inclusion (NFI) initiative that focuses a small group of learning support leaders from international schools around the world on a specific issue in inclusion education. Why LS or EAL is the Wrong Question: Serving ELLs with Learning Issues in Inclusive Schools, was our second "think tank". Initially, our efforts focused on the topic of learning differences or learning the English language but the team soon came to the conclusion that they were not mutually exclusive. As a result, we refined our thinking to whether we were even asking the right question? We currently have two new Leading the Way initiatives in the pipeline as we again bring together teams of learning support leaders to research and collaborate.
