Boreas is a land of snow and furs. Living in an eternal winter, the native Boreads have lived in peace with the humans for as long as anyone can remember, but now the human king is dead, and chaos has swept the land. With no children or siblings in Boreas to succeed him, the throne is passed to his nearest living relative, his nephew from across the sea. That land however is sunny and warm. Acting off an ancient legend, he seeks to destroy the Heart of Boreas and bring summer to the frozen land. Such an act would slaughter the native Boreads, so it's up to three, a Boread named Snowe, a rebel human named Alicyn, and a cynical griffin named Gryff, to stop the new king's mad plan, and save their icy home.
