Wild Masquerade

Though she is the most sensible of the Pedigrue sisters, Constance has always harbored a romantic dream of working in the theater. But when a string of disasters leave her stranded in New York and in debt to the scandalously successful theatrical producer Gideon Payne, she is caught outside of her wildest dreams.

With little choice, Constance accepts employment from Gideon as a way to pay her debts, determined to teach him a much-needed lesson before she is through. As she works for him, Constance soon discovers that there is more to Gideon than what meets the eye. But her discovery is taunted by the obsessive crimes of someone refusing to let go of the death of Gideon's actress wife--who happened to look exactly like Constance.

As her feelings begin to waver, Constance and Gideon join forces to unravel the mystery behind the terrifying crimes. But as a madman scheme's set the stage, they find themselves in a plot that tests their reluctant trust, sparks reckless hungers, and threatens much more than they ever expected.
