Notă biografică
Richard Green FSA, formerly Curator of York Art Gallery, is an independent art historian, critic and consultant, with a special interest in British art from c.1750 to c.1900. He has written on artists ranging from Paul Sandby through William Etty to Albert Moore, and contributed many reviews of exhibitions and books to the Burlington Magazine. He is an Honorary Visiting Fellow in the Department of History of Art, University of York. Jane Sellars MBE is a freelance art historian, exhibition curator and specialist on the work of women artists. She was co-curator of the exhibition William Powell Frith: Painting the Victorian Age (2007), and curator of Atkinson Grimshaw: Painter of Moonlight (2011), and Art and Yorkshire: From Turner to Hockney (2014), held at the Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate, where she was Curator of Cultural Services from 2003 to 2018.
