Wings of Deliverance

Logan's friendship with Mia has been a godsend. In the year they have been hiking together, Logan hasn't needed medication. No longer is she crippled by the PTSD brought on by a tortuous year that began with a dead bird left as a warning in her locker and escalated to the murder of her pet dog-and then the violent death of her parents.

Now living in a small California town where she helps her foster parents run a lodge, Logan's paranoia and anxiety has finally faded-until Mia doesn't return from their latest outing. Logan fears that the same faceless tormentor is once again lurking in the shadows.

When a man named Aimes Cray shows up at the lodge, sparks fly. But Aimes is no ordinary man. He's a guardian sent by the Elders to protect Logan from an ancient evil that seeks freedom in her blood.

"Wings of Deliverance" follows Logan and Aimes as they race to unravel the mystery of a witch sacrifice in an old mine. Aimes is conflicted over whether or not he should inform Logan of her true destiny: she'll either cause the destruction of the earth or become the champion of mortals.
