But as a fairy of the violet wing, few realize that Kaiya is the only fairy who can free them from the tyrannical Queen Isana. They don't see that she will be their hero. In fact, the faeries of Epidote barely tolerate her. Even as she follows paths she knows she must navigate, resistance comes from her family, her friends and, most of all, her enemies.
