Wings of Mourning

Autor Nancy Beeler
en Limba Engleză Paperback
This is an exciting book about life. Yes, one individual family, but it could be any family-mine or yours. This author knows how to reach into an ordinary experience of a day and turn it into a highlight of the year. Every chapter is in a new space, a new time, with some new people, but she has you riveted so much that you can't wait until the next story to see what this nurse or her husband or the children are going to react to next. But of particular concern are the stories which reveal some behind the scene stuff in nursing, some not so pretty. She leads you to conclusions that aren't spelled out but when you finish you have an insatiable desire to go out there and do something about it-correct attitudes, change ways things are done, etc. It's books like this that help change the world for the better. It should be recommended reading for every nurses' beginning classes and for husbands or wives (or to be) of all nurse-type people. Come to think of it, every counselor-in-training, including clergy-type, should have this in their book satchel. -Edward Murfin Nancy Beeler, RN, grew up in Tennessee, loved to write as a child, and became editor of her school newspaper. Currently, she lives with her husband in Jacksonville, FL, has five children, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Nancy was nominated for CHARACTER OF THE MONTH with USA Television Network and has a script agent in California. She served as president of the Gulf Coast Writers Association and belongs to the North Florida Writers Group.
