The tongue expresses what is in the heart. The tongue communicates character. Wisdom shows us the proper use of the tongue. Wisdom uses different words to convey its meaning. We will note the following words: tongue, speech, lips and mouth. Wisdom shows both sides of the tongue, negative and positive. We see the tongue as wise, choice silver, a tree of life, health, knowledge, kind and caring; or as foolish, lying, flattering, perverse, naughty, mischievous, wicked, backbiting, slanderous, deceitful and of little worth Actually, the wise man listens more than he speaks.
