Notă biografică
Susan Falkenhan is an educator, an author, a mother of three and grandmother of six. She has had an extensive career in education as a teacher, a placement coordinator, an educational consultant, and a federal program specialist. From the time her children were very young, Susan concocted stories and poems that entertained and captivated them. Her love of story-telling continues with her grandchildren who delight in the imagery and silly rhymes she creates.
Susan lives in Fulton, Maryland near her family and spends her summers on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine where she soothes her soul and renews her creative energy.
Wishy-Washy Weather is her first foray into publishing. Watch for more to come. Heather White is an artist and educator. She's a self-taught digital designer who creates original works including prints, stationary, and logos for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Heather has been teaching for over 20 years, beginning at the elementary level and eventually moving to k-12 visual arts. She enjoys exploring new media and working with aspiring young artists.
Heather is fortunate to live and work on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two cattle dogs exploring their natural surroundings.
This is the first time she's illustrated a children's book, but certainly won't be her last.
