Recenzii
After reading this book, I felt that I had traveled around the world and rediscovered the core values of the social work profession. More important, these core values were brought to life through the lens of women who practice with elegance and passion what the profession teaches." -Sandra Edmonds Crewe. Affilia: Journal of Women and Social Work Vol. 26.3
I believe practicing social workers will enjoy reading this book . . . [and] the book [should] be recommended reading in introductory courses for undergraduates. . . These women are remarkable and their stories are fascinating and inspiring." -Wynne Korr, University of Illinois
