CHRISTINE BUTTERWORTH-MCDERMOTT teaches creative writing, American Modernism, and fairy tales at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Her poetry chapbook is "Tales on Tales: Sestinas "(Finishing Line, 2010), and her poems and short stories have appeared in such journals as Alaska Quarterly Review, Beloit Fiction Journal, Borderlands, California Quarterly, Fourth River, North Atlantic Review, Portland Review, and RATTLE. "Woods & Water, Wolves & Women "is her first full-length collection of poetry.
