Motivation in the workplace may act as the driving force directing organization members toward set targets. When one should consider motivation among the workplace, what may first come to mind is monetary incentive. This, of course, is not the only form of incentive initiating motivation among the workplace. Other forms of incentive exist in praise or greater decision-making in organization activities. Workplace motivation may require the presence of sound transformational leadership catering to both the person and situational variables in creation of a state of equity among members of the organization. It seems for a democratic leadership style to cater to motivation in the workplace as a function of customer satisfaction, purchase intention of customers, and eventual satisfaction of organization members.
