Notă biografică

Elizabeth Boyle is associate senior lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Leeds Trinity University College. She is co-editor of Reading America: New Perspectives on the American Novel (2008) and is currently developing a monograph on liminality in African American fiction. Anne-Marie Evans is an associate lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire. She is co-editor of Reading America: New Perspectives on the American Novel (2008). She is currently working on a monograph, Purchasing Power: Women and Consumerism in the American Novel.
