Writing from Beyond the Tombs

Autor Ngo Ton Long Introducere de David Kolzion
en Paperback
These non-classifiable free-lance writings are no sorts of literature, and the writer never is an author of any literary genre, he was uprooted from both maternal and paternal sides -actually an orphan by his sixth year of age- and had so to live and to study life on his own reason solely: Nothing literary can ever come out of the pure reason that used to get him survive so hard such incredible situations at the time. His country of origin had long been lost, French colonialists erased her official name Great Southern Country and set up their three possessions there: Cochin-china, Tonkin, and Annam. The miserable was born Cochin-chinois just half a month before Metropolitan France was overrun by the Nazi. Eventually the Cochin-chinois child was made Vietnamese successively under the Japanese, in the French State of Vietnam, and of the American Republic(s) of Vietnam -to be disowned, persecuted, and namely exterminated by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.By 1994, his long erased name at birth had been legally buried, and in this postmodern world of political intrigue, military violence, and global terrorism, some of the latter movements of his thoughts, coming up to history and religion, have become so much more controversial that it is not time yet for him to render them into English.
