This book revisits the ancient tale by the poet Aneurin, set in the 6th and 7th centuries of ancient Briton's Saxon empire, when the host of all the chieftans were murdered at the Battle of Cattraeth; the second part is a prophecy written by Geoffrey of Monmouth called 'the Prophecy of Merlin'. Both works concern the problem of armageddon.
