Yay! Yippee! My Mommy's Having a Baby!

I wrote this book for other single moms out there who are having a baby and trying to prepare their older siblings. I also had my six-year-old son illustrate it to make it more personable. Unfortunately, I had no luck finding a book about just moms having a baby, so I made my own! It can be very confusing for children to read a book that is nothing like their life at home to prepare for a sibling.Luca is about to be a big brother to his little sister. He is the best thing life has ever given me. We share so many laughs, have so much fun, and are each other's best friend. He is going to be an awesome big brother.I hope this book not only helps older siblings prepare for a baby but gives strength to single moms. It can be very challenging at times, but we can do this! You are way stronger that you think you are and do not need to have the "ideal family". Everyone has what they make of it. The best ideal family could be just a mom with her kids. You are still a family and can be just as happy or happier. You are setting the example for your children. What doesn't go right is out of your control, it's how you handle it. I hope you and your children enjoy this book and pass it on to friends and family!
