Yesterday's Inn

On a back road in Vermont hangs an elegant sign: "Yesterday's Inn-guests welcome." Sportswriter John and his college-age son, David, are intrigued by the invitation and take time out of their camping trip to stay at the charming Victorian house. There, they learn the story of the inn and its owner, Bill. Bill established the inn to try and create a refuge for those disheartened by the modern world. The inn harkens back to a simpler time, and John, feeling some of that sadness, can't help but find it appealing.

The times the father and son spend at the inn will have repercussions for both their lives. The inn causes John to reevaluate where life has taken him and contemplate what he is looking for in life. David sees his father in a whole new light during their numerous stays, as they get to experience the Inn during its different seasons.
