Notă biografică
Damian Willcox is an award nominated cartoonist that has been creating comics under his umbrella imprint 'dorkboy comics' for over 20 years both in print and online.
His work has ranged from capturing the adventures of the endearing vegetable duo Kernel Corn and Peater the Black Eyed Pea as they navigate the digestive system, to the naive yet lovable grim reaper Skully, and of course the original comic that started it all 'dorkboy' - an unsuspecting anti-hero that somehow manages to save the day. He has several other comic titles in which he deconstructs daily life in his Sketchbook Comics, empathizes with the mundane task of tackling the daily grind in Workin' Jones, and the bizarre tales of a seemingly ordinary stickman and his "Frankenscooter" are chronicled in 'Scooterboy'.
Damian has also co-written the Too Much Coffee Man Opera with Shannon Wheeler, and has appeared in newspapers, radio, and garnered interest from Hollywood to translate his comics to the screen. Damian Willcox lives in Calgary, Canada with his wife where he is currently teaching his dog to talk.
