10 Nubian Knots

Kushakti is the founder of Kushite Publishing and Co-Founder of Best Black Children's Books. He is the author of three children's books, including 10 Nubian Knots, a bedtime count-down story encouraging self-love and depicting positive imagery of black families to children grades k-1st. Kushakti writes for children of all ages. His other picture books include Baby Baby Make Music and Summer in Grandpa's Garden. Kushakti is a Creative and believes that creativity must be nurtured and encouraged in the early stages of life as creative learning develops the brain's executive functions.
