Dr. Douglas J. Fiore has spent the last 17 years in public education working as a teacher, a principal, and a university professor. He is the author of School Community Relations, Introduction to Educational Administration: Standards, Theories, and Practice, and Creating Connections for Better Schools: How Leaders Enhance School Culture. He is co-author with Dr. Todd Whitaker of Dealing with Difficult Parents (And with Parents in Difficult Situations).Doug also has written numerous articles and has been interviewed by several newspaper and magazine reporters covering educational issues throughout the United States. In addition, Doug provides staff development to many school districts, and is a presenter at many state and national conferences for both teachers and administrators.Doug and his wife Lisa live in Midlothian, Virginia, with their three daughters, Meagan, Amy, and Katherine. Dr. Todd Whitaker is a Professor of Educational Leadership at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.
