Gary McNair is a theatre-maker based in Glasgow. He writes, directs and performs. McNair has been shortlisted for the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award, 2011; Platform 18 Award for Directing The Arches/The Traverse, 2011; The Avron Greenbaum Players Award for Directing (RSAMD), 2009.

McNair has established himself as Scotland's funniest non-comedian: if the subject matter looks a little darker this time (death, gambling and cancer), his dead-pan humour and charisma will lighten the mood.
