Eithne Quinn is senior lecturer in American studies at the University of Manchester. She is author of Nuthin¿ but a ¿G¿ Thang: The Culture and Commerce of Gangsta Rap (Columbia, 2004) and acts as a defense expert on rap music in criminal proceedings.
