Notă biografică
Weaving romance onto a baseball diamond is not very hard for a hopeless romantic like Drew Alan Wathey. He has crafted a compelling love story about one man's fight to stay in the game he so desperately loves and to reclaim a woman's love he so urgently needs. And, to also face the biggest surprise of his life with enduring compassion, love and understanding. A Season With Hope is Wathey's first venture as a novelist. A magna cum laude graduate of the acclaimed School of Communications at Ohio University, Drew Alan Wathey stepped into the broadcast studio as a television sportscaster in Flagstaff, Arizona and San Luis Obispo, California immediately after graduation. An emerging talent, he provided freelance sports features for ESPN and CNN Sports during the network's early years and was also a play-by-play announcer on cable telecasts in Mesa, Arizona for the Chicago Cubs. An entrepreneurial spirit who owns a home-based public relations and marketing company, Wathey was the first-ever Director of Communications for The Thunderbirds and the PGA TOUR's Phoenix Open, arguably the sport's most well-attended tournament. During his nearly 15 years with one of golf's most popular events, attendance almost tripled and sponsorship sales skyrocketed. An all-around sports enthusiast, Wathey broadened his scope of work and went to work as Senior Account Supervisor for SRO Communications, the in-house advertising agency and public relations firm for the Phoenix Suns and then America West Arena. With his initial novel, A Season With Hope, Wathey adeptly chronicles the struggles and frailties of human nature and the will and perseverance to eventually overcome those obstacles and embrace life for all its worth. www.aseasonwithhope.com https://www.facebook.com/A-Season-With-Hope-175832399463508/ https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/56898622-drew-wathey
