Notă biografică

Angela McAllister is the author of over 80 books for children and teens. Her books have won several awards, including the Red House Book Award for Yuck! That's Not a Monster! and the Stockport and Portsmouth Awards for My Mum has X-Ray Vision. Her picture book Leon and the Place Between has been adapted for the stage and was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award. She has collaborated with many illustrators, including Grahame Baker-Smith, Alex T. Smith, Margaret Chamberlain, Ross Collins and Peter Bailey. She has worked on many titles for Frances Lincoln Children's Books including bestselling titles A Year Full of Stories and A World Full of Animal Stories.

Alice Lindstrom originally studied Classics and Philosophy, graduating with a Bachelor of Humanities from the University of Adelaide. Shortly afterward, Alice moved to Sydney to complete a Bachelor of Design at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. After working briefly as a theatre designer in Sydney, Alice returned to the University of Adelaide and completed a Masters of Museum Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Art History. Alice now lives in Melbourne, Australia and is an artist and freelance illustrator. She works primarily in paper collage, using traditional cut and paste techniques, painting and preparing paper beforehand, before cutting and assembling it on watercolour paper or board to create highly detailed, intricate and textured illustrations. A Stage Full of Shakespeare Stories is her first children's book.
