Independent filmmaker, Blasket McManus has struggled his entire life to make small, personal films. But in a culture obsessed with blockbuster superheroes and vampire horror flicks, Hollywood considers Blasket irrelevant. To show he still matters, Blasket creates his most ambitious film: The Promised Land, a dark comedy about the American Dream.
