Notă biografică
Michael Keating is Professor of Politics at the University of Aberdeen and the University of Edinburgh. He is a Fellow of the British Academy and of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and an Academician of the Social Sciences. He has published extensively on European politics, nationalism and regionalism.
Descriere
This interdisciplinary collection of essays asks how Scotland can create a brighter economic and social future, given the range of powers available, economic constraints, institutions and public support. Looking at economic policy, taxation and welfare, it realistically analyses the opportunities and constraints.
