Notă biografică
Dr Chuang Wen is currently a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellow in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham. His major areas of research are clean energies with a focus on fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer in complex energy systems, including new technologies for fossil energy, carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen energy, renewable energy, energy storage, energy efficiency, and so on. He has published more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He has received several awards and fellowships from the European Union’s Horizon 2020, International Corrosion Council and Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Professor Yuying Yan, who obtained his PhD at City University of London in 1996, is a Professor and Chair of Thermofluids Engineering in Faculty of Engineering at University of Nottingham, UK. His research covers widely ranged area of flow and heat transfer including heat transfer enhancement, phase changes, surface wetting, nanofluids and nature inspired solutions and energy efficiency, as well as energy storage and thermal management. He was conference chairman of UKHTC2019, also chair/co-chair for many other conferences within the international heat and mass transfer, as well as bionic engineering societies since 2009. He is Associate Editor for Case Studies in Thermal Engineering, and editorial board member of International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Journal of Bionic Engineering, Thermal Science and Engineering Progress, and Automotive Innovation.
Textul de pe ultima copertă
This book gathers selected papers from the 16th UK Heat Transfer Conference (UKHTC2019), which is organised every two years under the aegis of the UK National Heat Transfer Committee. It is the premier forum in the UK for the local and international heat transfer community to meet, disseminate ongoing work, and discuss the latest advances in the heat transfer field. Given the range of topics discussed, these proceedings offer a valuable asset for engineering researchers and postgraduate students alike.
