Richa Kothari is Associate Professor at Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jammu, Jammu, (J&K), India. She is WARI Fellow (IUSSTF) at Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, USA. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. Dr Kothari has been actively involved in research in the areas of algal-based biofuel production, bio-hydrogen production, and utilization of renewable energy for wastewater treatment. She is also a recipient of prestigious Research Fellowship from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Dr Kothari has published more than 90 research papers/book chapters in reputed international peer-reviewed (SCI/Scopus) journals and supervised M.Sc., M.Phil., M.Tech., and Ph.D. students. She has authored Environmental Science for Undergraduates and edited three books.
Vinayak V Pathak is Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad (Haryana), India. He has done Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Department of Zoology and EnvironmentalScience, Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalya, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Dr Pathak has been actively involved in research in the areas of algal-based biofuel production, algal-based wastewater treatment, anaerobic digestion, pollution monitoring and nanotechnological solutions for environmental restoration. He has published more than 28 research papers and book chapters in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
V V Tyagi is Assistant Professor and Head at School of Energy Management, Faculty of Engineering in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, (J&K), India. His research areas are solar energy and thermal energy storage systems for heating and cooling applications, solar desalination and energy policy. He was visiting fellow at KUN Shan University, Tainan Taiwan. He has published more than 105 research papers in Scopus Index Journals. Dr Tyagi has supervised more than 25 M. Tech. thesis on energy and environment, energy systems and renewable energy, and has collaborated with National Institute of Solar Energy (MNRE), Centre for Energy Studies (Indian Institute of Technology Delhi), SUNWAY University (Malaysia), University of Malaya (Malaysia), University of Wollongong, (Australia) for different solar and renewable energy-based research work.
