“This book comprehensively overviews three prominent branches of studies on political speech. It is thus a very good entry-level book that can be used as a textbook for students who are interested in the analysis of political speeches. … this is an excellent a book which drives home both traditional and recent approaches to the analysis of political speeches.” (Jiayu Wang, Journal of Language and Politics, Vol. 17 (3), 2018)
