Editor W.Y. Lau is a surgeon and professor of surgery at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and an Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Professor Lau was President of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association from 2002 to 2004. He is also the book editor of Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma, Springer 2013, ISBN 978-94-007-6472-9.
