Recenzii
Casey Maslen succeeds in offering a concise introductory book on arms control and disarmament law for a broad audience from different professional backgrounds. As such, it holds what Oxford's series on "Elements in International Law" promises, to adopt "an objective, non argumentative approach to its subject matter".
It is without doubt that this book provides an excellent overview and insight into the most salient elements and components of international disarmament and arms control law, particularly in illuminating its differentia specifica, i.e., the way in which i differs from other bodies of international law, most notably international humanitarian law. It also offers a novel manner of examining arms control disarmament laws.
