Recenzii
Silverman's book brings new and well-deserved attention to the interwar period, adds analytic rigour to the field of Jewish and central European cultural history, and embeds its insights in rich cultural historical material. This is an important book that will hopefully spawn more attempts to break down the category of 'Jew' and 'non-Jew' while also theorizing about the creation of central European culture.
