Feedback can be understood and implemented in a number of ways, but the contributors to this, the second book in the "Best of the Best" series, are unanimous in emphasizing the paramount importance of feedback as clear communication, which is the basis of our current understanding of the word. From their contributions, each unique and enlightening in its own right, a number of key themes emerge. These include keeping feedback specific, detailed and firmly referenced to clearly explained criteria and the need to give student time to reflect on it, to question it, and to act on it.
