EDWARD PECK is Professor of Healthcare Partnerships, School of Public Policy, University of Birmingham, UK, and Director of the Health Services Management Centre, UK. He is especially interested in the theory and practice of organizational development. His recent books include Managing Networks of Twenty-First Century Organisations (with Perri 6, 2006) and Organisational Development in Healthcare: Approaches, Innovations and Achievements (2005).

PERRI 6 is Professor of Social Policy at Nottingham Trent University, UK. His recent books include Managing Networks of Twenty-First Century Organisations (with Edward Peck, 2006), E-governance: Styles of Political Judgment in the Information Age Polity (2004) and Towards Holistic Governance: The New Reform Agenda (2002).
