I am SO happy I took my time with this book. There were so many new characters and places to discover, and I think it was done so well. I was actually on “the edge of my seat” throughout the entire book. This is hands down one of my favourite stories ever told. Some of the best romance I've ever read before. As I said up in the Characters section, Lou and Reid have a depth to their relationship that is so real to the world around them and makes so much sense with who they are as people. I had to take breaks throughout the book just to process the amount of raw emotion between them. Personally, I believe they have the best, most intricate relationship of any story I've read before.
