Recenzii

Sizzling exuberance and imagination
Remarkable young writing talent ... there is a convincing tang of lived experience in the evocation of a practically lawless pocket of the north-east
Foul-mouthed and violent and very funny with it, this world premiere Bruntwood Prize-winner is a hugely entertaining black comedy sci-fi thriller - and there aren't many of those around ... a rollercoaster of a play that packs one surprise after another ... the writing is extremely assured, very mature, highly inventive, packed with good lines and brilliantly plotted
Any really great play breaks stereotypes ... this takes them apart.
Alistair McDowall's fascinating debut - which won a Judges Award in the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting in 2011 - plays by its own rules... note the name Alistair McDowall. He's a writer to watch.
