Recenzii
The book is well researched and is a useful addition to the history of the Second World War.
[Coombs' book] approaches the 'tank debate' from a largely unexplored direction ... With its fascinating cross-fertilization of social, military and economic history this will no doubt become the standard work on this area for some time.
Clearly, substantial effort and attention to detail accompanied this thesis turned monograph.
