Rashiduddin Fazlullah (1247-1318) was a historian and vizier to the Mongol Ilkhans of Iran.Wheeler M. Thackston, Jr. formerly taught at Harvard University. He is a distinguished Orientalist and noted editor and translator of Chaghatai, Arabic and Persian texts.
