Coaching Supervision: Advancing Practice, Changing Landscapes: Routledge EMCC Masters in Coaching and Mentoring
Editat de Jo Birch, Peter Welchen Limba Engleză Paperback – 21 mai 2019
The past decade has seen coaching supervision move from a rare and privileged audience to being a commonplace aspiration for the best practitioners. This book harnesses that surge in curiosity and provides a collective statement of our times. Each chapter equips us to face the demands of the VUCA environment. In turn, the book resources coaching and mentoring supervisors to support their supervisees - coaches and mentors who work with leaders, grappling with global, community and personal challenges, in this uncertain, fast moving world.
The book brings together pioneering research and practice and as such will remain current for many years. This book will be popular with experienced professionals who want to stretch and deepen their practice, keep up-to-date with current studies, challenge and catalyse their own thinking, and embrace learning from real-world practitioner examples and applied research.

Recenzii
"The contributor list of this book reads like a compendium of current thought-leadership in coaching supervision. I am delighted to see writers (and maybe more importantly practising coaches and supervisors) from different psychological fields and backgrounds joining a rich exploration and explanation of the range of purposes and strengths of supervisory work in the C21st." - Jenny Bird, Executive Coach. Coaching Supervisor, BA (Hons) Oxford, ICF Master Coach, UK
"It's good for a profession's world to be jostled at its outer edges from time to time. It challenges us to examine whether we have begun to hold a "flat world" view of what we do and how much we might have invested in who we have become, as opposed to who we might become. There will be at least one chapter in this book that will jostle pleasantly and at least one whose jostle might not be so welcome. Both reactions are grist for the mill for supervisors." - Patricia (Pat) Marum, Certified Coach Supervisor, ICF Assessor, ICF Mentor Coach, Southern Arizona ICF Past President, USA
"This book is a profound exploration of the growing field of coach supervision. Each chapter and contributor draws our attention to the nuances of the supervision experience; provoking the reader to consider fresh perspectives while broadening and deepening the landscape of this essential practice. A true contribution to the field and a must read for the serious coach practitioner and coach supervisor." - Pam McLean, Ph.D., CEO Hudson Institute of Coaching, Author, Self as Coach, Self as Leader, USA.
