Notă biografică

Anjiang Hu is a full professor of Sichuan International Studies University as well as a distinguished professor of the “Ba-yu Scholars Program” in Chongqing, China. He is the Secretary General of the Foreign Language Interface Studies Committee of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, the Secretary General of Chongqing Translators Society, a council member of the Translators Association of China, and a committee member of the World Interpreter and Translator Training Association. He is also a member of the Research Centre for Country-Specific Translation Competence, Beijing Foreign Studies University. He serves as the deputy editor of Teaching and Researching Translation and a member of the editorial board of Foreign Language and Literature and English Studies. His research interests include translation history, comparative literature and literary translation studies. His recent publications are on embodied-cognitive translatology, tradaptation/transcreation, cultural identity and the role of translatorsn literary translation.
