Recenzii

This is a terrific volume on comparative European politics. It is clearly written, comprehensive in scope and engaging in the way the material is presented. The book provides an excellent introduction to the forms and institutions of democratic representation. It also looks beyond voting and elections to discuss in depth what happens in the process of government and how different European states respond to the common challenges facing their societies. The discussion questions, guides to further reading and 'over to you' boxes featured in each chapter will prove useful learning tools for students and teachers alike. Highly recommended!
